In celebration of Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day on September 21, 2024, the 3FM Afro Connect Festival was organized at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and thousands of people were in attendance. On this festival Ethiopia’s rich and unique culture through a variety of traditional foods, the Ethiopian coffee ceremonies, the traditional drink (Tej), costumes and fashion, arts, handicrafts, and traditional musical instruments were showcased.
During the event two media houses requested an interview to know more about the Ethiopian culture, and the historical relationship between Ethiopia and Ghana. The Deputy Head of Mission, Ambassador Asaye Alemayehu, granted the interview and spoke about the strong historical relationship between the two countries, Ethiopian culture, and the need for Africans to drive African unity and promote collaboration for Economic growth.
እ.ኤ.አ. ሴኘቴምበር 21 ቀን 2024 የክዋሜ ንክሩማህ መታሰቢያ ቀንን ምክንያት በማድረግ የ3FM አፍሮ ኮኔክት ፌስቲቫል በክዋሜ ንክሩማህ መታሰቢያ ፓርክ የተዘጋጀ ሲሆን በሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ ፌስቲቫሉ ላይ ታድመዋል። በፌስቲቫሉ ላይ የኢትዮጵያ ባህላዊ ምግቦች ፣ የኢትዮጵያ ቡና ስነ ስርዓት፣ ባህላዊ መጠጥ (ጠጅ)፣ባህላዊ አልባሳት እና ፋሽን፣ የተለያዩ ቅርጻ ቅርጾች እና ጥበባዊ ስራዎች፣ የባህል የሙዚቃ መሳሪያዎችን ይዞ በመቅረብ በደመቀ ሁኔታ ተከብሯል።
በዝግጅቱ ላይ ሁለት የሚዲያ አካላት ስለኢትዮጵያ ባህል እና የኢትዮጵያ እና የጋና ታሪካዊ ግንኙነት የበለጠ ለማወቅ ቃለ መጠይቅ ያደረጉ ሲሆን ምክትል የሚሲዮን መሪ አምባሳደር አሣየ አለማየሁ ቃለ ምልልሱን በመስጠት በሁለቱ ሀገራት መካከል ስላለው ጠንካራ ታሪካዊ ግንኙነት፣ ስለ ኢትዮጵያ ባህል እና አፍሪካውያን የአፍሪካን አንድነት በማጠናከር ለኢኮኖሚ ዕድገት ትብብር ማድረግ እንዳለባቸው ገልጸዋል።
